For those of you  who are visiting Southern California on your own, taxi can be one of the options to easily get around if you don't want to rent a car, or if you have phobia driving on the sprawling freeways in busy cities like Los Angeles. You can of course download other ride services apps like Uber. We are only mentioning the above taxi service because we had ridden this service before and  we haven't tried others yet.  It's just easier for us to recognize a yellow taxi,  and there is no worry of getting into the wrong car that is driven by a criminal instead of an Uber driver. It's just one less stress for us, particularly for some of our female colleagues.
